BESPOKE RESIDENTIAL INTERIOR DESIGN IN paris

The client already had a concept, but it did not reflect the spirit of the apartment - its old wooden beams, sloping ceilings and top-floor character. He asked me to show him how I envisioned the space.

Its affectionate name, La Pigeonnière - the dovecote - comes from its location beneath the Parisian rooftops. The complex geometry could easily have made the apartment feel fragmented. Instead, I treated every beam, angle and roof window as part of its identity.

Furniture by French and European designers was selected for comfort, proportion and character. It brings a contemporary interpretation of French elegance while respecting the history of the apartment. The bespoke library adds warmth and architectural depth, but also expresses the client’s intellect, status and personal taste. Art and collectible design objects make the interior feel entirely his own.

Above all, I wanted to create a home in which the client could genuinely relax and live comfortably. The result is sophisticated but welcoming, contemporary yet connected to the past. It is true design for life.

I preserved the warmth of the original wooden structure and continued it through the flooring, wall panelling and bespoke cabinetry. This creates a sense of continuity and makes the unusual architecture feel natural rather than restrictive.

A contemporary glass study provides a private workspace while allowing the apartment to remain visually open and spacious. The metal kitchen introduces a modern contrast, balanced by substantial natural-stone worktops.
