GREEN APPLE
BESPOKE ECO-INSPIRED COUNTRY HOUSE INTERIOR IN FINLAND
The Green Apple concept began with the mature apple trees surrounding the property. Although the old house was completely demolished, these trees were carefully preserved. Their green apples, natural beauty and changing seasonal colours became the starting point for the name, palette and eco-inspired character of the new interior.
The house was created for a business couple who spend their working week in a demanding corporate environment. At weekends, they come here to leave the pressure behind, restore their energy and feel part of nature again.

The result is refined and individual, yet deliberately free from formality. It reflects the clients’ success without bringing the intensity of their working lives into the place where they come to recover.
Green Apple is a home designed not only around the clients’ tastes, but around their emotional needs. During the week, they manage responsibilities and make important decisions. Here, they can simply breathe, reconnect with each other and dissolve into nature.
The project began with careful listening. Behind the clients’ practical wishes, I recognised a deeper need: they wanted a home that would change their emotional rhythm from the moment they arrived. It had to feel warm, natural and completely removed from their professional world.
Natural wood creates a sense of warmth and protection, while green, ochre and earthy shades reflect the surrounding landscape. Large windows, organic forms and natural materials allow the interior and garden to feel like one continuous environment.
Every element was selected for the way it makes the clients feel.
Tactile surfaces, soft fabrics, warm light and comfortable bespoke furniture create a home that does not demand attention but quietly allows the body and mind to slow down.
